In an op-ed published June 22, 2026, in the Mining Journal, Marcey Thorne of Chippewa-Luce-Mackinac Community Action Agency (CLMCAA) shares how the Good Food for Michigan project is partnering with CLMCAA to expand access to local food for people across the eastern Upper Peninsula.
